Description

Similan is a Yawi word which means “nine”, so it is called Island No. 9. Similan islands consist of nine islands lying from north to south.The main islands that are tourist attractions are Koh Miang (Island No.4), Koh Payu (Island No.7), Koh Similan (Island No. 8), and Koh Ba Ngu (Island No.9). These islands are famous for beautiful white sand beaches and the water is crystal clear that you can see the fish under the water with your naked eyes. You will surely say “Wow!” when you see the breathtaking underwater world there. And that’s why Similan is rated one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world.

Itinerary

Similan Island

  • Welcome to “Wow” Andaman. Our delightful reception staff will introduce you to your professional tour guide and snorkeling equipment will be issued to everyone. After that let’s have a light breakfast with coffee and tea.

  • The tour guide will give you detailed information about today’s program. Go to the pier and our “Wow” Andaman’s speedboat will take you to Similan Islands National Park.

  • Stop at Ba Ngu Island (Island No.9) to savor magnificent scenery of the island and snorkel amid so many bright colored fish.

  • Arrive at Similan Island (Island No.8). Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet including vegetarian dishes and be amazed by the famous rock formation called “sailing boat rock”. It only takes 10 minutes to walk up to the viewpoint. A 360 degree panorama from there is breathtaking and you can also see Ao Guak or the “Donald Duck” Bay.

  • Leave Similan Islands (Island No.8) and head to Payu Island (Island No 7). Enjoy snorkeling to see fascinating schools of fish and beautiful corals.

  • Leave Payu Island (Island No.7) and head to Miang Island (Island No4). Miang Island boasts two beautiful beaches.

  • You can enjoy a superb view of the island right on the beaches. The highlights of Miang Island (Island No.4) are the flying foxes perching on the tree and the Nicobar Pigeons, another rare species of bird in Thailand.

  • Say good bye to Similan and head to “Wow” Andaman pier.

  • Arrive at the pier and shop for souvenirs. Get back to your accommodation safely.
