PhuKhaoYa (Grass Hill)
PhuKhaoYa (Grass Hill), also known as KhaoHuaLan (Bald Hill) or Khao Phi (Ghost Hill) is extraordinary in that it is a geographical anomaly. This average-sized hill is entirely void of trees leaving it looking, as local residents say, like a 'Swiss pasture'. Although you shouldn't wait for singing nuns or herds of goats, PhuKhaoYa is worth a visit if you are in the area. The hill offers a nice even layer of grass which provides very different scenery during the rainy season. The hill supports walking paths and it also provides a good place to take in views of surrounding Ranong whilst having a picnic. From here, Ngao Waterfall can visibly see from the scene.
